Terroir conditions
Hadesis Cognac, a treasure from the Cognac region in France, embodies the fusion of a mild and humid climate with limestone and clay soils. This land nurtures unique grape varieties that, when carefully crafted, yield a fragrant and rich Cognac, akin to a beautiful poem that captivates the senses and leaves one enchanted.
Distillation
During the distillation process, Cognac undergoes a magical transformation. The grape wine is heated in ancient copper stills, converting it into vapor and then cooling it back into liquid form.
This enchanting process, known as "double distillation," helps to eliminate impurities and refine the essence to its purest form. Each distillation is a carefully choreographed dance, infusing the soul of the grapes into the spirit, unleashing captivating aromas and unique flavors that immerse us in the allure of Hadesis.
Aging
The aging of Hadesis is a journey filled with wisdom, where time imparts different charms. Generally, the aging period of Cognac ranges from 2 to 50 years, with each year giving it a unique personality and flavor. A 10-year-old XO exudes mature and rich flavors, while a 4-yearold VSOP showcases a gentle and balanced character. However, Cognacs aged over 50 years are rare treasures, carrying the wisdom and depth of time, captivating the imagination. Regardless of the length of aging, Hadesis serves as a witness to history, and savoring it is like savoring the memories of the past.
Blending
Blending Hadesis is an art, akin to a poet selecting words. Masters create unique flavors and aromas by blending Cognacs of different ages.
They carefully select Cognacs with various characteristics, such as youthful fruity notes, mature complexity, and the influence of seasoned oak barrels, based on the brand's style and objectives. These Cognacs are blended in varying proportions and undergo extensive refinement and tasting, ultimately yielding a singular Hadesis that intoxicates with its exquisite composition and abundant expression.
